FARMING IN UKRAINE: PERSPECTIVES OF THE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
This article gives the analysis of basic indicators of farming development in Ukraine in 2012-2016 years. The absence of radical changes in their dynamic has been found. The main factors that hinder the development of farms in Ukraine have been defined. It is proved that land reform, which can be carried out in the interests of agricultural holdings, can completely destroy farming in Ukraine. The serious arguments are given to prove that agricultural holdings are not socially responsible. The urgent necessity of development of agricultural service cooperatives as a condition for successful rapid farming development and the increase of its competitive advantages have been proved. The negative consequences of the agricultural holdings activity and the need of the farming development as one of basic conditions of rural territory development have been highlighted and preservation of food and ecological safety of the state has been grounded.
