MODEL OF URBAN PLANNING FACILITIES FOR BIKES IN THE HISTORIC URBAN ENVIRONMENT BASED ON KONTRAKTOVA SQUARE

Abstract
In the article the features of functional - spatial organization of facilities for bicycles in the historic urban environment (on the example of public space on Kontraktova square in the Podolsk district of Kyiv). The results of pre-project analysis using statistical data, methods of field survey are presented. Requirements are formulated for the recreational spaces of large cities. The expediency of using the European experience of active use of cycling transport in the central parts of the cities for Kiev is grounded. Describes modeling techniques cycling infrastructure based on experimental design.
