Abstract
Article is devoted to the specifics of development of an offense criminalizing the violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport persons to drive vehicles in Ukraine during the Soviet period, as well as its impact on the criminal liability for violation of the rules of road safety in Ukraine at the present stage.
