FEATURES OF FORMATION OF THE HAIRDRESSING SALONS’ NAMES IN CITY KYIV

Abstract
The names of objects of service, such as beauty salons, hairdressing salons, cosmetology salons fixed during the last year in various districts of the city of Kiev, are considered in the article. The main ways of the names formation are onymian and appellativian. Particular attention is paid to the onymian method of Ukrainian ergonyms forming. Among the onymian names there are various ergonyms, formed by the transonymization from antroponyms, toponyms, mythonyms. Appellativian ergonyms were also analyzed and an attempt of etymological analysis of some names was made.
