Abstract
The article is devoted to studying the role of one-member sentences in a poetic discourse of the famous contemporary poet Mark Lisyansky. The theme is relevant since the works of this author are not currently studied both literarily and linguistically. As the subject of the research onemember sentences have been selected. The purpose of the research is to determine the role of one-member sentences in the creation of the author’s (Lisyansky) individual style. The article presents a comparative analysis of the use of certain types of one-member sentences in the author’s poetry to define their role in the creation of the poet’s individual style. The result of the study showed that one-member sentences were actively used in the poetic discourse of Mark Lisyansky, particularly nominal ones. It is explained by the situation described in the first person singular, lyrical „I am”. Constructions with impersonal-predicative words as principle parts, referring to the physical or mental condition of the lyrical character, are most often used among the impersonal sentences. Generalized-personal sentences appeared least important. Their main purpose is figurative expression of general propositions, generalizations that are not common for the author’s poetry. The results can be used as illustrations, samples in the study of the syntax of the Russian language, and also in the linguistic analysis of the literary text in high school. This study gives opportunity for further investigation into syntax features of Lisyansky’s poetic heritage, as he is one of the most important poets of our time. The article deals with the concept of poetic discourse, presents a detailed analysis of one-member sentences found in the creative heritage of the famous contemporary poet Mark Lisyansky. Their active use plays an important role in the author’s individual style (idiostyle) formation throughout his career. A comparative analysis of the use of certain types of one-member sentences in the author’s poetry has been carried out to define their role in the creation of the poet’s individual style.
