Features of the ABC-XYZ analysis using as an efficient managing instrument of accounts payable of industrial enterprise

Abstract
It has been proven that in the course of 2012-2016 Ukraine suffered an exacerbation of non-payments crisis among manufacturing enterprises. Effective management of settlements with creditors is impossible without conducting an analysis with regard to the condition and status of accounts payable. The objective of the article is the study of methodological and organizational aspects of analysis of accounts payable of the industrial enterprise. The paper scrutinizes the peculiarities of implementation of diverse methods of analyzing the suppliers: ABC analysis, XYZ analysis, FSN / FNS / FMR analysis, VED / VEN analysis, QRS analysis, SDE analysis, HML analysis, RFM analysis. The work contains data on conducted АВС-ХYZ analysis of accounts payable of the industrial enterprise. The Lorenz curve is constructed to establish a supplier ranking for the industrial enterprise. The provided matrix of management tools for accounts payable creates informational foundation for managing every group of creditors which significantly facilitates work with large bulk of data and allows reducing costs for management of settlements with creditors. Utilizing the suggested methodological approach allows performing optimal formation of stock assortment, as well as providing balanced production flow and increasing the profitability of the industrial enterprise. Implementation of the analyzed suggestions with regard to supplier ranking will allow to create a baseline for improving the mechanism of management of settlements with creditors, to enable business entities to qualitatively improve their provisions for steady and progressive development in crisis conditions, to ensure prompt and efficient reaction to changes in its market environment and to determine actions aimed at enhancing the efficiency of enterprise activities.
