Features of the modern institute of parliamentarysm

Abstract
The article describes the understanding of the concept of «parliamentarysm» by modern Ukrainian researchers. The specifics of the functioning of parliamentarysm under the influence of the tendency of strengthening the executive power is shown, which simultaneously raised the issue of weakening the parliament, confusing the functions of government and lawmaking. The peculiarities of the modern institution of parliamentarysm in the conditions of observing the principles of separation of powers and the supremacy of the parliament are determined.
