FEATURES OF THE POLICY OF PROTECTIONISM AND FREE TRADE POLICY

Abstract
The article defines the essence of concepts of “protectionism” and “free trade”. Theoretical and methodological foundations of doctrines of protectionism and free trade are generalized. Practical recommendations concerning the creation of an effective mechanism for managing the foreign economic policy of the state are formulated. The dependence of the level of socio-economic development of the state on the effectiveness of the organization of management of the national economy, its foreign economic activity in the conditions of constant changes and risks, the openness of the economy, and the challenges of globalization are established.
