FEATURES OF WORD FORMATION PROCESS IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article deals with features of word formation process in Indonesian language. Derivation methods were classied. The possible types of semantic content deformations based on word-formative process were analyzed. It was determined that afation is one of the main word formation processes in Indonesian language. Every repetition and af performs a function in the sentence and has some grammatical meaning or its combination. The history and patterns of Arabic inuence on the formation of the Indonesian was studied. It was also developed the typology of the afation processes. Prospects for further research deals with more detailed analysis of this topic as well as the phenomenon of replication in the Indonesian language. In the current contet of globalization and multicultural development of the world and its impact on Indonesian society the role of studying formation of the Indonesian language for better understanding Indonesians increased. It helps to understand better monoculture features of the country for such who study Indonesian language. Received results improve and deepen the development of word formation typology of new words. The practical signicance of the results is to develop afation processes typology that are involved in the formation of new words and afes types with their features and phonemic deformations. The survey results may be used in teaching such disciplines as «Indonesian language leicology», «Morphology of Indonesian language» and «theoretical grammar of Indonesian language.»
