Financial security of the banking system

Abstract
of a modern market economy. The purpose of the study is proposed measures for ensuring an adequate level of financial security of the banking system. Research methods. In this work the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method of analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, the method of data generalization are used. Results of work. The paper outlines the external and internal factors that affect on the stability of the banking system. The principles that must be followed when organizing an effective system of financial security are defined. The main threats for the banking system are identified and the measures for ensuring the financial security of the banking system are proposed. Conclusions. The results of the study lead to the following conclusions: the system of security of banking activities can be defined as an organized set of special bodies, funds, methods and measures that provide protection against the effects of internal and external threats; the main threats of the banking system were identified; measures were taken to counteract the negative impact of potential threats on the process of ensuring financial stability and the stable functioning of the banking system.
