FOMENTANDO A DISCUSSÃO SOBRE O ENSINO DE GOVERNANÇA DE TI: UMA PROPOSTA DE ABORDAGEM PRÁTICA

Abstract
The increasing power and decreasing costs of Information Technology (IT) have created both challenges as well as opportunities to organizations, which in turn have become totally dependent on IT. IT governance aims at creating value by optimizing costs and risks. IT students must be prepared to contribute to real world challenges. However, there are challenges in teaching subjects related to IT governance such as less motivation of students to participate in management courses, the usual theoretical approach used in these classes and the difficulties in linking theory and practice. This study aims at identifying, through a systematic review, experiences of teaching IT, and also at presenting our experience in conducting such study. The systematic review found very few articles on the subject. However, those that were found are usually concerned with putting theory and practice together. The objective of the proposal presented is to integrate several IT governance methodologies (strategic planning with BSC, Cobit and ITIL) in just one academic activity. Students have considered this activity important to practice the processes and techniques studied in their course.
