Food Security – the Basis of Stability of the Mechanism of the Food Market

Abstract
The article reveals the essence of food security as the main element of the food market. The problem of food supply of the national food market is investigated. The indicators that in general characterize the stability of the mechanism of the food market and the state of the economic security of the country are considered. A model for regulating the food market and ensuring food security has been proposed.
