FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF SCIENCE AND RESEARCH PREPARATION OF FUTURE SOCIAL WORKERS IN THE INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract
The article deals with the main stages of development of social work as a research profession in foreign countries. In the article there are determined the features of formation of readiness of future social workers to scientific and research work in the institutions of higher education at various stages. First stage is described as a period of incipience of social work as a profession, the second - as the development of system of professional preparation of social workers and unification of requirements for it, the third stage is marked as recognition of the research component as the mandatory component of the professional training of social workers. There are highlighted a number of relevant trends of foreign experience of preparation of social workers to research work nowadays. The main of them are: ensuring of fundamentalization of professional preparation, involvement into teaching highly skilled professionals, maximum approaching of the content of training courses to the needs of the practice.
