Forgotten defolt USA: experience for application in Ukraine

Abstract
Based on the positive international experience in applying the default procedure and abandoning the gold standard, the article substantiates the expediency of applying such a procedure in Ukraine, which will ensure the creation of prerequisites for financial stabilization and economic growth of the country. The article outlines the positive aspects of applying the default procedure as an effective mechanism for reforming the country's economy. The default offered to understand the actual failure of the borrowing country to respond to its debt obligations.
