Abstract
The article discusses the form of dissolution of an arbitration agreement in Polish law. Because the Civil Procedure Code regulates merely the form of an arbitration agreement and does not contain any provisions concerning its dissolution, it is Civil Code regulations referring to the form of legal acts that will apply correspondingly. In view of the respective provisions of the Civil Code, the article addresses three situations relating to the form of dissolution of an arbitration agreement: the first one deals with a case where parties concluded the arbitration agreement in the form prescribed by the Civil Procedure Code, the second one where parties concluded the arbitration agreement in another particular form, the third one deals with the form of dissolution of an arbitration agreement agreed by the parties. The article also discusses the Civil Code amendment introduced under the Act of 10 July 2015 with respect to the issues concerned.
