Journal Title: Ideação - Year 2016, Vol 18, Issue 1
Abstract
The training of translators and / or interpreters of Brazilian sign language has become a focus of professionalization for this group of professionals on the rise. It emphasizes the performance of the first interpreters, the steps for professional institutionalization and the creation of continuing training courses, extension, undergraduate courses, Lato Senso postgraduate courses and postgraduate studies at master’s and doctoral level. This work will focus on undergraduate and continuing education courses. We will make a critical analysis about the curricular formatting, specific disciplines to translate and / or interpret. The focus of the work is the constructivist theory, of which the human mind shapes the second reciprocity with the other in its environment. The first professionals worked without any training or instruction on techniques between the source language and the target language.
