FORMATION OF COLLECTIVE MEMORY BORDER: PROBLEM OF IDENTIFICATION

Abstract
The article defined the notion of collective memory and frontier, an attempt was made to investigate the formation of collective memory in the boundary space and the factors flowing to this process. Particular attention deserves the problem of the emergence of a special regional identity and its types, the formation of which may proceed taking into account the various relations of the border region with the center. The relationship between the center and the frontier can lead to the emergence of a "memory war", functioning on the background of social, ethnic, political, economic, traditional, linguistic, religious, ideological and other principles.
