FORMATION OF POLYLINGUAL AND POLYCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF UKRAINE IN CONDITIONS OF BILINGUISM

Abstract
The article clarifies the concept of “polylingual education” in conditions of bilingualism in the context of the development of the modern world; the interpretation of the concepts “polylingual competence”, “multicul- tural competence” is made. The essence of the organization of the educational process on the basis of polyi- lingualism in higher educational institutions is determined. Polylinguistic and multicultural foundations of the organization of the educational process in the higher school of Ukraine are characterized. Some attention is paid to the formation of polylingual and multicultural competence as key in the professional training of future specialists in the conditions of a modern, culturally diverse society.
