FORMS AND METHODS OF INTENSIFYING AND MANAGING MODERN ENTERPRISES OF MACHINE BUILDING

Abstract

In the process of research the actual scientific issue was solved, which is the study of the influence of intensification and management of the production of machine building enterprises on the results of their business. Critical analysis of scientific developments of modern scientists on increasing the intensity of production and the introduction of modern methods of management into the practice of enterprises activity allowed distinguishing existing forms and generalized and specific production methods of production intensification, which together ensure the development of the enterprise. Analysis and synthesis of the best companies in the world, according to the FORBES GLOBAL 2000 rating, allowed highlighting a group of the best machine-building companies by 2018. Among them the dominance of automotive corporations was established, on the basis of which further research results were obtained. In order to obtain accurate and substantiated results of the assessment of the intensification of production for the enterprises of machine building, such method was used with aim at analysing the results of economic activity of machine building enterprises; calculating indicators by the forms of intensification of production; determining the impact of these indicators on the volume of enterprises products; comprehensive assessment of all-sided intensification of activity and the level of its manifestation, rationalizing methods of development and adoption of managerial decisions in the direction of intensification of production. The practical application of the method has made it possible to establish that for Toyota Motor Corporation and Tesla Motors in the period of 2014-2016 has satisfactory level of production intensification, and for the Mercedes-Benz corporation has a high level. Analysis of intensification techniques used by corporations has shown the feasibility of use by Toyota Motor Co. such techniques as TPS, Jidoka, JIT and the need for their improvement on Tesla Motors and Mercedes-Benz. In order to increase intensifying production for the researched machine building enterprises, it is suggested to introduce new types of products into production, which will allow improving technological level of corporations, using more efficiently existing production capacities and providing further innovation growth. Further research should be directed towards increasing production and management efficiency of machine building enterprises based on implementing project's decisions of innovative character.
