EVALUATION OF THE CRYPTOCURRENCY MARKET VOLATILITY COMPARED WITH OTHER INVESTMENT TOOLS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
In recent years, investors are increasingly attracted to the process of investing in cryptocurrency. The number of cryptocurrencies available over the Internet is quite big. Among all cryptocurrencies, bitcoin is the most popular. However, over the entire period of existence, bitcoin has proved itself as a cryptocurrency with considerable volatility and instability. Indicators of the ratio of yield and risk level, their dynamics and influence factors, regarding cryptocurrency assets, remain unexplored. All these factors determinate importance of further scientific researches. So, development in this direction is burning and relevant. The aim of the article is the analysis of the income, risk level, and volatility of bitcoin comparison to other tools and investment assets of the Ukrainian financial market. The methodological basis of the research article is dynamic series, statistical, structural, and comparative and correlation-regression analysis. The research article is devoted to the analysis of modern approaches to bitcoins and their characteristics determination. Tendencies of the bitcoin distribution in the financial markets are considered. Based on mathematical processing of statistical data, the correlation between the level of cryptocurrency yield and risk compared to traditional investment tools of Ukrainian financial market (PFTS index, US dollar) on different horizons of in cryptocurrency market and the specifics of their formation and circulation, are revealed. Investing in cryptocurrency assets is accompanied by a super-high level of profitability, but also by a high level of volatility. Such investment can only be attractive for aggressive investors. Also, because of the high level of volatility, it is almost impossible to predict accurately the investing results.
