INFORMATION AND METHODOLOGICAL SUPPORT OF THE ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF ACTIVITY OF PRIVATE PENSION FUNDS

Abstract

The purpose of the article. The purpose of this article is to disclose information and methodological support of the economic analysis of activity of private pension funds in Ukraine. Results of the analysis. The development of private pension funds in Ukraine requires a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the activities of these financial institutions. This assessment allows an objective picture of the state of a specific subject - a private pension fund, and provides material for rankings and ratings of these financial institutions, and, respectively, of the analysis of the market of private pension funds in general. Therefore, studies of the informational and methodological support of the economic analysis of activity of private pension funds in Ukraine, as well as making suggestions for its improvement, is relevant and timely both from the theoretical and practical side. The article describes the main features of information and methodological support of the economic analysis of activity of private pension funds in Ukraine. To analyze and compare the activities of non-state pension funds were correct and objective (exclude manipulation in anyone's interests), the value of all the indicators should be calculated the same way and using the same methodology with the same period. In the study, several methodological approaches to the analysis of the economic activity of private pension funds has been identified. In this case of the six most impossible to identify effective methods of economic analysis examined the activities of private pension funds, that is, they are designed for different purposes and have their value only in the application to determine performance indicators. Therefore, to ensure the completeness of the economic analysis of the activities of non-state pension funds in Ukraine advisable to provide a common information base on key performance indicators of private pension funds, which are used for the purposes of economic analysis. The proposed article approaches to solving the existing problematic issues of information and methodological support of the economic analysis of activity of private pension funds in Ukraine will contribute to the improvement of methods of analysis and evaluation of private pension funds.
