Abstract
The article deals with procedural and non-procedural forms of the use of special knowledge, the main directions of the use of special knowledge in the investigation of tax crimes, in particular, direct investigation by investigators (search) actions; the involvement of a specialist; conducting of examinations are investigated. The authors note that in the investigation of tax crimes an important role is given to advisory advice, The most common types of expert research are analyzed.
