Abstract
Abstract. The paper deals with the Fourier series studies in engineering education. How to improve Fourier series using information technology is introdused. Needs of visual learning is discused. The example how teach Fourier series is presented.Conclusions. Information society, both in Europe and Lithuania increased speed. These days, education is unimaginable without information technology. Information technology more and more in keeping with the teaching and learning process becomes an integral part of it. Modern information technology tools and promotes the use of all levels of the teaching process, teaching and learning different things. Information technologies have significant impact on teaching and learning, making it more attractive and visual. Research object: Fourier series education in engineering studies. Relevance of the topic. Engineering students are very important to be able to spread the functions of Fourier series. In order to check whether or not function correctly making Fourier series using the program Mathcad. The paper goal: The Fourier series of training engineering studies using information technology facilities and advantages. The tasks: 1. Analyze the application of information technology in teaching mathematics subject functions and their relationships. 2. Presend Fourier functions example using information technology. 3. Examine the Fourier series of training through information technology. 4. Discuss the application of Fourier series in engineering. Conclusions. 1. The analysis of application information technology in teaching mathematics subject funcions is introdused. 2. Fourier functions example using information technology is presented. 3. The application of Fourier series in engineering is discused.
