FRICTION FORCE ANALYSIS IN THE PROCESS OF CONSOLIDATION OF LIME-SAND MIXTURE

Abstract
In the paper, friction models were analysed, which can be applied during investigation of the process of loose medium consolidation. Experimental testing determined the force pushing consolidated samples of a lime-sand mixture out of the mould, and it assessed crushing strength. The correlation of the material strength and friction forces between the loose medium and the mould was reported on the example of the sample series with fine-grained additions (pigment).<br/><br/>
