From Creed to Fiqh: Blaspheme in Hanafi Jurisprudence Works

Abstract
As belief and disbelief are considered the acts of heart, they were first examined in Kalam works. Even though belief and disbelief are the subject matter of Kalam, they also have some direct consequences related to worldly organizations of any person, believer or denier. So, this matter has been dealt with under the title of apostasy (irtidât) in the books of jurisprudence (Fiqh), in addition to blaspheme (alfâz al-kufr) in Kalam books. This matter has been taken further in the following years of founding texts and have been dealt extensively in the books called nawazil books. In our paper, we traced different kinds of treatises and works that examined which sayings and acts take the doer out the circle of faith. And in the appendix, we added the first and foremost important work of Samarqandî, titled Nawâzil, with its translation.
