FUNCTIONAL TRANSPOSITION OF EXTENDERS WITHIN SEMANTIC SENTENCE MODEL

Abstract
The article continues a series of articles devoted to the both theoretical and practical status and intermediate categorical one of extenders within a structural and semantic sentence model. The subject of research deals with the extenders of semantic sentence model which are interpreted, in our theory, as minimal syntactic units which are characterized by the cumulative and structural semantic meaning. It has been discovered that the analyzed extenders have inherent semantico-syntactic characteristics and that they also have the potential to appear in the role of a syntaxeme within both a substantial plan and a predicative one. Title: «Functional transposition of extenders within semantic sentence model». The purpose of this article is to prove and confirm that the transposition phenomenon needs to be taken into consideration while studying the theory of extenders of semantic sentence model for a reason that it is one of the key indices of categorical identification. Functional transposition figures prominently in the theory of syntactic nomination as a process that provided primarily transferring a semantic component or a grammar unit to another and is followed by the acquisition of new features. Functional transposition’s place and role of extended components in the formation process of semantic sentence unit has been expounded including modeled and variable semantic of transformations. Transposition intentions of sentence extenders have been analyzed from the point of their semantic and functional ambiguity. The necessity of taking into account the functional transposition of extenders while studying their nature as valuable and competitive syntactic units has been proved. It has been summed up that functional transposition of sentence extenders displays with the help of transformational methods bearing in mind some semantic features as well as functional ones.
