TO THE QUESTION OF THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE SPECIAL-PURPOSE LEXEMES

Abstract
In modern linguistics observed a lot of works devoted to problems of semantics, typology, functioning of special-purpose lexemes. The special-purpose dictionary are different types of words (in particular prototerms, terminoids, preterms, terms, quasiterms, nomens and even professionalisms). And although the history of terminology as a separate science starts with first half of the twentieth century, a consensus view on the definition of the term as the central units of the special-purpose dictionary and the status of the species terminological lexemes among scientists there. We believe it appropriate to consider issues related to the taxonomy special-purpose dictionary regard to the views expressed in modern Ukrainian and foreign researches, in particular Polish linguists, which causes the relevance of our research. The aim is to examine the nature of various types of special-purpose lexemes in comparison with central language unit term system – term. Scientific novelty: orderly classification of types of term system in the Polish grammatical terminology. The results of the study can be used in the course of history and theoretical grammar of the Polish language, the course of the Slavic terminology. Applied general scientific methods of induction and deduction, comparative method and linguistic component analysis. Analyzed the constitutive signs of the term. Clarified the specifics prototerm, terminoid, preterm in the composition of grammatical terminology in the Polish language. Summarized the opinions of scholars about quasiterms: this preterms, which were fixed in the special-purpose dictionary and gained sustainable, or the special-purpose lexemes, for which the characteristic is the search for optimal definition. Polish terminology there is also a class hypoterms – common expressions within the terminological lexicon. Considers common and distinctive features of the term and nomen, but to draw a clear line between these lexemes failed because of their capacity for interchangeability depending on the conditions of operation. It is noted that professionalism are not normative and oral. Investigated special classes of lexemes reflect the history of formation of terminology, especially with lingual fixation of knowledge about the world.
