FUNCTIONS OF THE STATE: NATIONAL SECURITY APPROACH

Abstract
The author analyzes the doctrinal approaches to the definition of the “function of the state”, identifies the main deter- minants of influence on the functions of the state, states the urgency of applying innovative methodological approaches to the definition of the concept of “state function”, proposes an author’s vision for defining the concept of “state function” taking into account the norms of the Law of Ukraine “National security”.
