Abstract
The article presents and compares the Demographic Reserve Fund and the Government Pension Fund of Norway, and also describes how they will shape in the future. The paper provides an assessment of current activities of funds. Conclusions are based on information about the demographic structure of society, investment policy, the amount of collected resources and the rate of return on investment.
