Journal Title: Наукові праці. Серія "Педагогіка" - Year 2018, Vol 311, Issue 299

Abstract

The world is changing and global issues make people reconsider their view on the process of learning, teaching and acquiring new soft skills. Importance of collaboration for students as future leaders is crucial. Students and teachers collaborate to build mutual beneficial relation-ship. It is a key element for teachers to accept challenges of the modern society and changing conditions to contribute to forming future experts with well-developed soft skills. Being active participants in the process of teaching and learning both parties contribute to the new mode of studying where flexibility meets the real world. Students become and feel a part of the community and the sense they belong to a bigger process of creating competitive experience while acquiring necessary life skills. This learning strategy is mostly focused on the needs of a student to be well-rounded and not to forget about work-life balance in order to better prepared for an increasingly diverse and complex future work environment. They gradually become to understand that they are equal participants in the process of dis-covery, innovation and learning through and from mistakes. There is strong evidence that active learning methods enhance the effectiveness of teaching and instruction in a way that communi-cates deep understanding of concepts. Such interactive techniques also make learning more engaging, challenging, authentic and satisfying. Active learning requires high quality interactions between the student and the academic, and between the student and their learning material. Modern pedagogy in higher education regards students as active agents who contribute to the development of a responsible sense of being a community part. They actively shape their own experience. Digital and online technology fundamentally enriches the nature of the class-room.
