FUTURE SPECIALIST TRAINING IN A POLYCULTURAL EDUCATIONAL SPACE BY MEANS OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article deals with the topical problem of training not only future specialists of a certain profession, but also teachers and researchers who would be able to interact in a crosscultural context adequately and be tolerant towards the representatives of other cultures. It is obvious that the modern educational space should be the space of cultures crossing. In terms of the existence of multi-ethnic and multicultural regions in Ukraine multiculturalism is one of the most important stabilizing characteristics. Polycultural educational space fills the society at all levels with the values of universal, national and individual culture, implements values related to the individual, ensures the attention of an individual, its protection and support, as well as contributes to the cultural identity of each individual. In the educational process skilled training should be provided and multicultural educational space should be aimed at improving pedagogical culture, cross-cultural communication and interpersonal profession-targeted interaction, professionalism in any field. The essence of the concept «polycultural educational space», the requirements to the contents of multicultural space and its components have been studied. The issues on formation of ethnic identities in a multicultural world, which is stipulated by a great need of the modern society for identity enabling different cultures to be united on the basis of multilingualism and cross-cultural competence, have been analyzed. The analysis of scientific sources of national pedagogy shows that the theory and practice of the vocational education has considerable experience, innovative ideas which can become a basis for modernization of professional training of future specialists for cross-cultural interaction of subjects of educational process. Nowadays in the scientific literature there is no clear definition of multicultural education, however, scientists consider various aspects of this phenomenon. The controversy surrounding the notion of crossculture and training under multicultural conditions still remains, we believe that Ukraine needs the model of multicultural education based on comparative analysis of the global and European models involving the pedagogical, cultural-specific, cultural and didactic approaches.
