GENDERNIY MONITORING OF ORGANS OF ADVOCATE SELF-GOVERNMENT OF VOLYN REGION

Abstract
The article highlights the results of gender monitoring of Volyn region self-government bodies. The emphasis is on the problem of equal access of men and women to leading positions in the lawyer's self-governing bodies of the Bar of Volyn region. Allegedly, male lawyers occupy a prominent place among lawyers’ self-governing bodies in the Volyn region. It is noted that the conference of lawyers of the region in forming the composition of the bar self-governing bodies of the Volyn regiont, taking into account the results of monitoring, it is appropriate to take into account the existing gender imbalance between men and women and seek to achieve gender parity.
