Geopolitical aspects Ukrainian-Japanese cooperation in a global context

Abstract
The article gives multifaceted analysis of strategic political preconditions of Ukrainian and Japanese dialogue of our times. It identifies principal geopolitical aspects influencing the relations between our states. It proves that Japan is a global ally of Ukraine in conflict with Russia since both countries face similar territorial problems: Japan with Northern Kuril Islands and Ukraine with the annexed by Russia Crimea and Donbas. The article deals with the issue of developing economic cooperation between the states which in its turn influences on strengthening geopolitical statuses of both countries.
