GLOBALIZATION AND CONFLICTING FACTORS

Journal Title: MANAGERIAL CHALLENGES OF THE CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY - Year 2018, Vol 11, Issue 2

Abstract

The term globalization was originally meant to describe a multicultural process that results in events taking place in a part of the globe that have a wider repercussion on societies and problems in other parts of the globe. Today, because many studies use the term in various acquirers and contexts, there is no universally accepted form and probably not final. Thus, globalization can designate a phenomenon, an ideology, a strategy, or all together. On the other hand, the expression of the multitude of interests, aspirations, expectations or divergent options represents, in a simple description, the conflict. The purpose of this paper is to identify the main sources of conflict situations that humanity faces today in the process of globalization. This study factors conflict situations enables obtaining research results that can be the starting point in the development of proposals to improve the workplace and in society in general.
