GLOBALIZATION AS A SOCIAL-ECONOMIC PHENOMENON: METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF ANALYSIS

Abstract
Theoretical approaches to determining the essence of globalization as a socio-economic phenomenon of development of society are analyzed in the article. Economic, socio-cultural and social-political aspects of globalization are characterized. Main vectors of the confrontation, which arise in a global society, are defined. Basic contradictions of the globalization process are allocated. They are consist, in particular, in the uneven of technological development, the redistribution of economic power and wealth, the difficulty control of global processes, the emergence of differences in standards of behavior, the unevenness distribution of the population of countries by age. In this context, negative consequences of globalization as a complicated socio-economic phenomenon are defined. It is proved that using the proposed approach to the analysis of globalization as a multidimensional phenomenon is the basis for the classification of the key global problems in the context of certain aspects of globalization as an objective planetary process.
