MANAGEMENT OF CREDIT RISK IN THE BANK

Abstract
The current stage of development of the Ukrainian credit market is characterized by systemic imbalances that negatively affect the stability of the banking system and hamper economic development. In order to reduce credit risk and improve banks performance in providing bank loans, the article deals with topical issues of credit risk management of banking institutions. The essence of risk as banking and economic category is revealed, interconnectedness of risks of different categories is demonstrated and the need to improve the bank credit risk management process is proved. Analyzed the methodological approaches to quantitative analysis of the credit risk of the bank. The factors impact on the credit risk of the bank. The estimation of credit risk and suggested ways to improve credit risk management of the bank.
