Government reactions to the economic crisis – the fundamental dilemmas
Journal Title: Journal of Management and Business Administration. Central Europe - Year 2011, Vol 19, Issue 5
Abstract
The goal of this article is to analyze government reactions to the contemporary economic crisis from the point of view of their efficiency. One can have serious doubts whether activities undertaken by governments and central banks are an appropriate remedy for structural problems, which have led to the crisis that began in September 2008. Another concern is the huge cost of government intervention and its consequences for the future of the global economy.
