Journal Title: Politicus - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue
Abstract
The content of such concepts as “historical regularity”, “chance”, “great personality” is analyzed in the article. It is emphasized that in the process of studying the gnoseological problems of historical science, it is necessary to focus on those system categories that are used in the general methodology of sciences, primarily on the category “scientific theory”. The role and place of the individual in the historical process is considered. It is noted that in order to solve the urgent problems of social development, there is a need for leaders who, through their own energy, will, mind and abilities, can implement quality changes.
