HARMONY OF COEXISTENCE OF PROSE AND PAINTING

Abstract
The author of the article examines the effect of co-operation of arts, in particular on the example of poetry. This item was very actual at the end of the XIX century and beginning of the XX century. In that time new artistic practices – impressionism, symbolism and others like that were provided by the new going of the dialog between arts and literature. A lyric poetry of the Russian symbolist K. Balmont is the example of the successful use of picturesque effects in poetry. This poet expresses the functions of color for perfection his works. Freedom of self-expression comes into the notice of modernists. The author is talking about the influence of painting and the characteristics of free, perceptible or even intuitional perception of the world. A color rids gradually of function of reflection of the real state of affairs, but enriched property, comes forward character of human’s existence of man. The universal model of culture is created by the symbolism of epoch. A parcel of land, separating colors and tints were very important by the defined portable values for the symbolists. They against traditional symbolism of color, but quite often it was enriched or even changed self-willed. These tendencies appear in the lyric poetry of K. Balmont, A. Beliy, M. Voloshin, A. Blok and V. Ivanov. A lyric poet K. Balmont gives the good example of the flexible using of colors’ function. A poet was well-informed by traditional symbolism of color. He realized force of influence by separating tones and semitones on the psyche of man, his mood.
