Journal Title: International Journal of Pharma Sciences and Research - Year 2010, Vol 1, Issue 2

Abstract

The aerial parts of Leucas lavandulaefolia Rees, family Labiatae was tested for hepatoprotective activity against CCl4 in rats. The ethyl acetate extract of Leucas lavandulaefolia has shown significant activity, lowering the serum enzymes like SGOT and SGPT in rats intoxicated with CCl[sub]4[/sub].
