Electron transport through nanocomposite SiO2(Si) films containing Si nanocrystals
The current transport through insulating SiO2 films with silicon nanocrystals in Si/SiO2(Si)/Al structures has been investigated in the wide range of temperatures (82…350 K). The nanocomposite SiO2(Si) films containing t...
Influence of the presence of a fluxing agent and its composition on the spectral characteristics of ZnS(Cu) obtained by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis
Investigated in this work were the photoluminescence spectra and luminescence excitation spectra of powered ZnS:Cu, obtained using the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) with addition of NaCl and...
1/f noise and carrier transport mechanisms in InSb p + -n junctions
The dark current and 1/f noise spectra have been investigated in p + -n InSb junctions. The photodiodes were prepared by Cd diffusion into single crystal substrates. The current-voltage characteristics have been explaine...
Impact of semiconductor quantum dots bandgap on reabsorption in luminescent concentrator
We have investigated the influence of the average radius and its dispersion of the semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) used in luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs) on reabsorption. To minimize the detrimental reabsorption...
Deposition and optical absorption studies of Cu–As–S thin films
Cu–As–S thin films were deposited using the thermal evaporation technique. Optical transmission spectra of Cu 0.1 As 2.1 S 3.1 thin films were measured within the temperature range 77...300 K. Temperature behaviour of ab...
