Journal Title: Na Ratunek - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 2
Abstract
Hypothermia is the most frequent effect of the body’s exposure to very low air and water temperatures. Frostbite, often associated with hypothermia, can also pose a risk of permanent health loss. The knowledge of the pathophysiology of both these phenomena, the methods of their prevention and the management of their occurrence have a significant impact on subsequent treatment and its success.
