Historical, cultural and modern trends in the development of rural tourism in family homesteads

Abstract
Annotation. Purpose. The aim of the study is to identify the prospects for the development of employment and rural green tourism as a result of the idea of "Family Homesteads". The article is devoted to the study of rural green tourism as a promising direction of social entrepreneurship in the United territorial communities. Methodology of research. The methodological basis of the research is a qualitative analysis based on the dialectical and systematic approaches of social and economic processes of public management of rural areas development. The foundations of sustainable multifaceted development of rural areas are based on the use of analysis and synthesis tools, scientific abstraction, induction and deduction, statistics. Findings. The article illustrates promising areas of employment and self-employment in rural areas through the development of green rural tourism. It also shows the development of family homesteads and family homestead settlements, the formation of the basis development of territorial communities in the conditions of power decentralization and budget deficit. Practical value. The article substantiates the measures system for the rural development through the mechanism of "Family Homesteads". The results of the study are used by territorial communities to form a public management mechanism of rural development and to stimulate the effectiveness of socio-ecological and economic interaction of rural residents.
