Abstract
Myth is studied through the prism of political creativity and alienation in the life of an individual and society. Myth-design is seen as a means of effectively managing of the state, relationships and processes in the present and programming of the future. The likeness of the nature of the myth to the characteristics of the post modernity is analyzed from the point of view of historical reactivation of the resource methodological possibilities of social myth creation. Attention is drawn to the potential of image-metaphorical fullness of mythology in the strategy of conducting future-diagnostics.
