HISTORIOGRAPHY ON THE ISSUE OF FORMATION AND IMMUNITY AS AN INSTITUTION OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURAL LAW

Abstract
The article examines the historical aspects of the formation and development of the legal institution of immunity in criminal proceedings. Retrospective analysis of the law, determining the position of privilege and security of people in a relationship in criminal conflicts. The features of the historical formation of the legal immunity of persons who are government officials and clergy. The emphasis is on gradual historical process of expansion of the category of persons endowed with legal immunity law in criminal procedure relations.
