“HOLY TRINITY” OF REGIONAL ECONOMICS

Abstract
The article defines the fundamental principles of “new regionalism.” The evolution of innovative models that contribute to the formation of the globalized spatial structures is presented. The author conducted an analysis of economic development of regions, states, and the globalized world, united by the framework of the “holy trinity” of the regional economics: technologies – organizations – territories. The main elements of the “holy trinity” of the regional economics are considered. The dynamic effects of agglomeration arising from the ability of firms or regions to generate innovations are presented.
