Abstract
W drugiej dekadzie XXI wieku związki humanistyki i ekonomii wydają się nieuniknione. Ten nie zawsze bezkonfliktowy mariaż można zaobserwować na różnych – by posłużyć się terminologią Pierre’a Bourdieu – polach działalności społecznej: od finansowania lokalnych przedsięwzięć kulturalnych, poprzez edukację humanistyczną na wszystkich etapach kształcenia, zwłaszcza w perspektywie idei long life learning, aż po radykalne dla kultury przemiany mediów związane z rozwojem nowych technologii. Ekonomia wpływa na humanistykę, a humanistyka niejednokrotnie staje się przedmiotem zainteresowania ekonomii. Nie zawsze jednak między przedstawicielami tych dyscyplin zachodzi pełne porozumienie. Szukaniu tego porozumienia, jak też innych aspektów wymiany myśli między humanistami a ekonomistami jest poświęcony niniejszy artykuł.
