[i][b]Some of the Philosophical Justifications and Criticism of the Institution of Property[/b][/i]

Abstract

The author discusses non-theological natural law ideas that justify the origins of property. He also discusses theological natural law approaches to property, conventional approaches to property, liberal ideas on property, property as a result of historical development. Subsequently, he reviews the opinions of philosophers about the meaning of private property and the meaning of public property. He concludes with a summary.
