IDEA OF EDUCATION IN CHRISTIANITY, ISLAM, BUDDHISM AND CONFUCIANISM

Abstract
Summary: Increasing cultural diversity is one of the changes that are happening in Polish school. This is reflected, for example, by the presence of foreign students in Polish classrooms who represent religious traditions other than Roman Catholic traditions. The purpose of the article is to provide a synthetic presentation of parenting and educational models within four religious systems (Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Confucianism), whose members arrive relatively most frequently in Poland. This presentation is to make it easier for psychologists and the whole teaching staff to understand why these students function differently in school. For differences often result from the vision of education and parenting propagated by the religions these children practice.
