IDENTIFYING SIGNIFICANCE OF SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION MISTAKES WHILE EXAMINING HANDWRITTEN NOTES

Abstract
The author of the article pays attention to some problematic issues arising in the establishment of the executor of the document, namely, how spelling and punctuation mistakes influence the conclusion of the forensic expert. Based on the analysis of the specialized literature and considering own practice, it was established that taking into account spelling and punctuation mistakes in the process of comparative study of hand- writing by a forensic expert, would play only a secondary role. However, one should not conclude that the comparison of mistakes does not make any difference. It can play a positive role, but only at the investigation stage in order to find the offender.
